Super Loo
The Luxury Super Loo was designed and constructed at FDL’s Feilding factory as a complete mobile amenities unit. It contains six flushing toilets and four handbasins supplied with hot water, providing considerably more comfort and capacity than a conventional portable toilet facility.
FDL led the project from the initial design through to final assembly. The project brought together the company’s engineers, designers, flat-panel manufacturers, flooring specialists and factory management team, working alongside the client and a subcontracted builder.
Nearly the entire enclosure was manufactured in fibreglass, including the base, sides, roof, end panels, doors, internal linings, partitions and water tank. These components provided durable, moisture-resistant and easily cleaned surfaces throughout the unit. FDL also project-managed the complete fit-out, coordinating the electrical, plumbing and carpentry work undertaken in the factory.
