Harbour & City Towers Wellington

In 2002, FDL custom-moulded fibreglass verandah capping for Harbour Towers in Wellington. The components were manufactured to fit the building and create a clean, continuous architectural finish across the verandah.

Located close to Wellington Harbour and surrounded by busy city traffic, the exterior components needed to withstand sea spray, airborne grime and ongoing exposure to the weather. They were finished in high-gloss Epithane 343, selected for its durability and long-term gloss retention in these demanding conditions.

The project demonstrates how moulded fibreglass can be used to create lightweight, durable architectural elements with consistent shapes and a high-quality exterior finish.
