Established in 1978, Fibreglass Developments Ltd (FDL) expanded from its original 1600 sq. ft. workshop to occupy some 44,000 sq. ft. in the present factory - located in Feilding, near Palmerston North, New Zealand. From our centrally located facility, we produce a wide range of products for a large variety of industries throughout New Zealand. FDL has its own portfolio of products including Steridor & Plyglas.
Our specialty is developmental work on behalf of clients - whether designing improvements to an existing product, or developing a totally new product whose generic form is not normally produced in composites.
The FDL team is led by Owner and Managing Director, Steve Bond, who has been involved in the fibreglass industry for over 35 years. With 20 staff, he is supported by a solid core of very experienced long-serving employees who are dedicated to the success of the company and are committed to the company's guaranteed standards of quality and service.

Steve Bond - Managing Director
Steve has been the fearless leader of Fibreglass Developments Ltd for over 35 years and what he doesn't know about fibreglass and composites isn't worth knowing. He is a strong believer in buying Kiwi made and throws his support 100% behind businesses and causes he believes in. Steve has a strong reputation in the industry for his business nous and quality work.

Aaron Couzens - Operations Manager
Aaron hails from Australia, moving to New Zealand after becoming enamored with our country's renowned beauty. Having worked across multiple industries and considerable knowledge of all things business and technology, he is wealth of knowledge.
As Steve’s “right hand man”, Aaron manages the daily operations of the business, HR, ICT and H&S. Aaron has a great rapport with our clients and suppliers with the belief that building great relationships should be the forefront of any business.

Brian Terry - Production Manager
Brian has undertaken a few tours of duty with FDL, recently returning to take up the role of Production Manager.
Brian is responsible for keeping the manufacturing process operating smoothly and efficiently. Brian will ensure you get your product on time and to spec, every time.

Dale Nicholls - Administration & Finance
Dale has stood alongside Steve for many years, providing exceptional professional support to the business. She ensures our team is equipped to carry out its duties in an environment that promotes maximum productivity.
Dale is not only in charge of the financial aspects of the business, but she also manages record keeping for FDL.
