marine rescue centre
Featured in the Architecture NZ Jan/Feb 92 issue, this building was opened in October 1991 and is perfect example of using materials fit for purpose on a building subject to a very harsh environment. The external cladding is all GRP mouldings with a slightly stippled finish to give a longer lasting finish.
Below are some of the pictures of the work that was commissioned by FDL to complete the outside work on the Auckland Marine Rescue Centre.
