X-Form is a separate company that now shares a part of our facilities, which gives us a reliable source for the creation of highly accurate plugs and repeating complex and difficult trimming of components such as campervan parts. The accuracy possible with this machine we have also utilised to give drilling the RFS Radomes to exacting repeatable requirements, which is not always possible when drilling manually.
At X-form, they are able to create an accurate 3-Dimensional computer model of a physical object by 3D digitizing. Once in the computer, they (or the client) are able to modify, reverse engineer or design new parts around the digitized one. They will then cut the associated tooling required on their large 5 axis computer-controlled CNC machine. Typical applications include plugs for fibreglass and composite parts, vacuum forming tools, rotational moulding tools and foundry patterns.
