MANAGEMENT:
Managing Director - Steve Bond

Steve joined the company in October 1982 to put his creative talents to use, and complete a kit car project based on the Maclaren M6BGT. He took over management of the company a year later when the previous owner left to go farming. The company has grown steadily over the years as major customers soon took advantage of the innovativeness on offer, and expanded their product range. Steve has always been strongly creative and good at problem solving. While prepared to work hard to see a project through to completion, he is inherently lazy and continually looking for the easiest and simplest way to do things!
A keen motor sport enthusiast, Steve rally's a Hillman Hunter powered by a 4.2 Rover V8 with approximately 375 bhp - although he admits that both he and the car are getting too old! He is also an A-Grade Clerk of Course for Motor Sport New Zealand, and is on the Manfeild Auto course Board of Control.
Business Manager - Simon Barnes

Simon joined FDL in January 2007 and is responsible for the Day to Day management of the business. He has lived in Wales, the Middle East, Timaru, Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland but calls Palmerston North home. He also went to Massey University in the 80's where he completed a Degree in Chemistry.
Over the years, Simon has gained a fantastic range of knowledge and experience from senior management roles in the Oil, Transport and Logistics Industries. He works tirelessly towards his aim of "Working harder to do Less"!!
Project Manager - Tracy Petersen

Tracy joined Fibreglass Developments Limited in June 2008. He has recently completed a degree in Engineering at Massey University and has been employed by Contact Energy – Retail as a management consultant and, NZ Trailers and GR Engineering as a design engineer. Prior to commencing his degree at Massey, Tracy spent 25 years in the RNZAF as an Aircraft Technician. During his time in the service he completed a tour of the Arabian Gulf attached to the HMNZS Wellington and various deployments with 75 SQN and 14 SQN both within New Zealand and overseas.
Tracy lives in Feilding and is a keen classic car enthusiast with a liking of 50’s and 60’s American heavy metal.
