Fibreglass Developments Ltd - We made it out
To all our loyal Customers and Suppliers 8/12/17
It is with a great sigh of relief and a feeling of immense gratitude, I have pleasure in saying, that the third receiver I appointed, has now been discharged as of 8th Dec 2017, and this time will not be replaced.
After a very torrid and character building 31/2 years, we have escaped from under the ominous black cloud of receivership!
To say this has been a difficult period is really understating the facts. It has been way more than that and as a consequence has taken a great deal longer than we were planning for. Just when we think we have a good contract, it is snatched away from us as some Clever CFO, could not differentiate between Receivership and liquidation. There is no doubt many of the former do end up as the latter, but we were determined that would not happen to FDL.
To all those who have supported us over this period by keeping your doors open to us, you have our heartfelt gratitude.
To those that did not support us, your loss. But I may come knocking on your door again anyway.
We remain optimistic, more so now with that banner removed, that the doors previously closed, may now re-open, and all the vultures circling, will find the beast is still alive and not ready for picking clean yet. In fact not for a long time.
We are now strongly focused on building FDL back up to where it was, the Icon of the Composites industry. We welcome you to join our journey.
Kind regards
Steve Bond and the Team at FDL.
Wishing you all a great Xmas.
